Installing AssureID Sentinel

For AssureID Sentinel deployment environments that rely on central repositories, GBG recommends that you first copy the AssureID_Sentinel_Install.msi file to each local client machine and then run the installer from command line. See the Silent install and upgrade method (MSI) section for more information.

The installation and configuration for AssureID involves the following general steps:

  1. Install the AssureID device drivers
  2. Install the AssureID software
  3. Update the AssureID Document Library

Note: Before you install AssureID, make sure that the current user is part of the computer’s Administrators group. Failure to do so may cause problems during or after installation when using the product.
