CActivation library
The AcuFill SDK core architecture prevents it from processing images that were not acquired from scanners that are manufactured by GBG. This often becomes a problem for clients that already have a third-party scanner.
To enable the use of third-party scanners, the AcuFill SDK must be activated on the local machine. In the activation process, the AcuFill SDK links the local PC and a special activation code on Acuant’s server over the internet. After the activation’s success, the AcuFill SDK will grant the processing of images that was acquired from any TWAIN scanner.
Note: After the activation key is used to activate the AcuFill SDK on a specific machine, it can’t be used for activation on other PCs.
The CActivation Library includes the following functions:
ActivateOnServer
Section titled “ActivateOnServer”Activates the AcuFill SDK. The PC must be connected to the internet to complete this function successfully. After the operation succeeds, the AcuFill SDK can be used with any TWAIN scanner.
Note: After the AcuFill SDK is activated successfully, it does not require the PC to be connected to the internet.

GetActExpiryDate
