Documentation updates
What has changed in this documentation, newest first. It lists the changes worth knowing about: new or rewritten pages, pages moved or retired, and corrections that change what you would do. Small fixes are not listed. The foot of every page shows the date that page was last updated. For changes to the products themselves, see the release notes.
30 October 2026
Section titled “30 October 2026”- IDscan Core: a new API reference under APIs & SDKs covers every endpoint of Document Verification, Liveness and biometrics and Face Match, with the request fields, responses and code samples in curl, JavaScript, C#, Java, Kotlin and Go. It is generated from the OpenAPI definition each service publishes, so it describes the services as deployed and is refreshed when a service changes.
- IDscan Core: four new pages, Get started, Authentication, Requests and responses and OpenAPI definitions, where each service’s definition can be downloaded to generate a client or import the API into your own tools.
- IDscan Core: the Introduction was rewritten. It dated from 2023 and described endpoints as “in development” that have long been available.
- IDscan Core: the link from the Introduction page to the separate IDscan Core documentation site was removed. That site documents the legacy version of IDscan Core and is being decommissioned.
22 October 2026
Section titled “22 October 2026”- Previous versions: the section listing superseded editions was removed. Each document now has one edition, the current one.
- Face Match: the Face Match API (8.5.3) and Face Match Software pages moved from Previous versions to APIs & SDKs and Installation. They are the current documentation for Face Match.
- Release notes: new Current versions and All releases pages, a page per product with its latest version and history, and an RSS feed for each product.
- Links between pages that pointed at older editions now point at the current edition.
- Web SDK: 14 broken links in the integration guide were fixed, and eight annex and appendix pages were given titles that say what they contain.

Section titled “15 October 2026”- IDES Library Resources release notes: versions 8.2.7 to 9.6.4 added.
9 September 2026
Section titled “9 September 2026”- All pages moved from the previous docs.idscan.com site to this one. The content is the same; superseded editions were not carried over.
