Improved ability to find face landmark features for over and under exposed images. As a result will cope with watermark occlusions more robustly. Note: This is done by trying the original face landmark detector first and then trying 2 successively slower but more robust algorithms, however this will reduce the overall speed of the face match. This functionality can be disabled in the …/face_matcher_params.yml file if not required, but this is not recommended.
Added “Identical” Face Match result to cover the situation where exactly identical images are checked. Note: If the same image is used twice no attempt to find faces will be made as this indicates that Face Match is being used with incorrect inputs.
When used with IEOS 8.4 and beyond the correct part of a known ID corresponding to the face will now be sent to FaceMatch rather than the full ID image.
This release requires AVX2 support.
