Release v2.1.2.0 and older – GBG IDscan Documentation

Release v2.1.2.0 and older

FM V2.1.2.0

  • Moved to the new V3 face recognition model. This should improve how Face Match copes with occasions and produce slightly better results overall, particularly with respect to Asian faces.
  • Minor bug fixes to logic when processing full IDs rather than just face images.
  • Log location can now be set using a registry entry.
  • If it was necessary to rotate the incoming image to find a face in it, we now report this back so that it can be used to display the image in the correct orientation.

FM V1.1.0.0

  • Fixed a bug that meant Face Match could detect the large face like object in a complex image and then fail to find facial landmarks within this if it wasn’t a true face. The fix means it will find up to 5 face like areas, sort them so that it looks at the biggest face first and will then work through each one until it finds a face with good facial landmarks for face matching.

  • Changed installers to comply with GDPR on face images.
  • Change legal terms notice to include Cambridge Face Tracker tool copyright notice.
  • Minor speed improvement in image normalization code.
  • Added support that will be used be Visage Face Search module (to be released separately).

FM V0.2.1.2
