Release v8.4.2 – 19 Jul 2019

IEOS Backend Services:  

  • Added support for indicating the way of communication of backend with IDESv2, in config file.
  • Added ability for implementing library as a windows service.
  • Added ability to the backend to send RFID metadata to the IDESv2
  • Applied watermark to all images which have been stored.
  • Added capability for multi-tenancy customers to select a tenant in Investigation Studio, Admin Portal and Analytics Studio.
  • Added ability for scanners to support multi-tenancy. In this way journey will be performed for the preferred tenant.
  • Allowed customers to be able to provide more than one journey definition per channel in Admin Portal. If there are multiple journeys which have been defined for the channel, the new page which has been designed for user to select the journey will be exposed on the screen before starting capturing or file upload in Capture Studio.
  • Users will be able to upload pdf file of the address document in PoA step, after migrating to IDESv2.
  • Digital tampering will be disabled in IDESv2 as well from trusted capture channels like file upload and scanner.
  • FDE team will be notified for NotSupported/Refer/Expired journeys, right after the journey has been performed over MJCS and WJCS.
  • Users will have an ability to search in multilanguage for Proof of ID in Investigation Studio, after migrating to IDESv2.
  • The client/server session management are redesigned to ensure that the client browser does not send “userName” and “userGroups” information to the server.
  • The userGroups is validated by the information related to the session token which must occur server-side, not client-side. 
  • Introduced the new health check endpoint in IEOS & IDESv2 & IDFM components order to improve infrastructure support.
  • The default time-out duration is increased to 15mins.
  • Fixed webhook notification issue on liveness step.
  • Updated the logic for quality assessment checks. This parameter will be send as “true” for WJCS only.
  • Implemented new configuration for retrying requests in case of the requests are failed.
  • Encrypted multitenancy related keys in config file.
  • Provided purge script which clears the tables (Document Image, Document Extracted Field, Person Profiles, Personal Profile Images, Identity Documents, Liveness) out for Aurora database.
  • Added a new column to the investigation studio in order to display FDE decision.
  • Redesigned the appearance of pdf report to show FDE decision in it.
  • Converted username value for IESA db connection string which is entered by user to the lowercase.
  • Posted regarding parameters from backend to IDESv2 in order to contribute to enhancing cropping.
  • Fixed multitenancy issues.
  • Fixed some UI related bugs

WJCS (Web Journey Capture Service):  

  • Implemented login page to the WJCS
  • Fixed camera initialization issues on liveness.
  • Fixed token info exchange issue between WJCS and backend
  • Added an ability to navigate to start new journey and logout after journey is completed.
  • Added an ability for additional data to the smart capture and file upload. 
  • Fixed scanner connectivity issue in case of the sharing method is userGroup.
  • Fixed camera permission issue on firefox browser.
  • Fixed camera permission issue on Chrome browser.
  • Removed viewed blank pages while WJCS has been performing in Chrome browser.
  • Fixed UI related issue with Chrome browser in Android
  • Fixed some UI related bugs

Terminal Service (Scanner):

  • Reconfigured the Terminal Services Client permissions so only privileged users are granted access to the application’s directory. 
  • The Terminal Services Client is updated into sending unique authentication credentials before receiving a connection token from the SignalR API.
  • Implemented Certificate Pinning.
  • Fixed restarting the service issues.
